Fellowship Project
Dr. Huang will visit the Corning Museum of Glass in the United States for 6 months (June – December 2026), to study the Western glass within its collection, to examine ancient Chinese glassware, especially those predating the Qing Dynasty, and to investigate glassware types that are akin to those found in the National Museum of China’s foreign glass collection. In addition, by drawing on the practices from Western museums with regards to collection acquisition and exhibition planning, this endeavour will strengthen the exchanges between the National Museum of China and the Corning Museum of Glass in the US.
