交流項目

朱馨芽博士於意大利文明博物館（Museum of Civilizations）以及意大利亞非研究院圖書館 （Library of Italian Institute for Africa and the Orient – National Central Library of Rome） 進行為期一年的交流（2023年8月至2024年8月），主要研究朱塞佩·圖齊（1894 -1984 年）以及二十世紀上半葉義大利關於亞洲藝術史的收藏與貢獻。研究期間，朱馨芽接觸了圖齊和其他考古學家及學者在亞洲收集的文物，以及博物館 14,000 件攝影作品的一部分。她對 亞非研究院圖書館收藏的一些未編目攝影圖片進行了鑑別，並完成了《在義大利收藏、展示和書寫東亞藝術史》一書的研究工作，已交由羅馬ISMEO出版社。

朱馨芽博士是威尼斯卡福斯卡里大學博士後研究員。她目前的計畫研究照片如何在十九世紀和二十世紀的歐洲形成對亞洲的理解。在西安交通大學和北京大學獲得中文和藝術史碩士學位之後，她獲DAAD獎學金在海德堡大學東亞藝術史研究所獲得博士學位，研究領域為 1900-1910 年代中國的新聞攝影實踐。朱馨芽曾發表過關於中國現當代藝術和攝影的文章，並與胡素馨教授和沈揆一教授共同編輯了《墨與油：留歐的中國藝術家（1920-1960 年）》一書，即將由Brill De Gruyter出版社出版。

近期發展和參與項目

    朱馨芽正在籌備名為 《重建絲綢：Giacomo Caneva 1859 年亞洲探險的照片》攝影展覽，計劃於 2026 年 1 月至 4 月在威尼斯東方藝術博物館舉辦。居住羅馬的攝影師Caneva隨同Giovan Battista Castellani和Gherardo Freschi率領的科學和商業考察隊前往印度和中國（上海、杭州、湖州）。他們探險的目的是收集健康的蠶卵，以應對在歐洲蔓延的病毒對當地絲綢生產帶來的危機。本次展覽展出分別在兩家義大利私人收藏的32 幅早期中國攝影作品。
