J.S. Lee Memorial Fellowship Programme for Chinese Arts

The J. S. Lee Memorial Fellowship Programme supports curators and academics taking part in attachment/ fellowship programmes in museums or institutions having important collections of traditional or contemporary Chinese art. In order to realize the goal of promoting international exchanges and cooperation in the field of Chinese art, the programme will require applicants to be based in museums or institutions outside of their own national borders. Fields of fellowships include Chinese Art history, curatorship, archaeology and conservation.

Fellows who are selected will have an opportunity to work under leading curatorial professionals, and to participate in curatorial work and research for a period of four to twelve months. The fellowship funds will cover international round-trip airfare and living expenses during the attachment period. The programme does NOT fund formal study or travel programmes.
